EXPLAIN YOUR PRACTICE:
It gives me pleasure to relieve dental pain and help people feel confident in their smile. My attention to the smallest aesthetic details- such as the size, shape and color of teeth- can make a huge difference in a person's appearance.
WHY THIS FIELD:
Cosmetic dentistry is what I've always wanted to do. It changes people's lives.
HOW HAS YOUR PRACTICE GROWN:
My practice has actually gotten smaller since I bought it in 2000. At the time it was geared towards capitation plans and I would see 25 to 35 patients per day. Now, I have a cosmetic fee-for-service practice and am able to give about six to eight patients daily more private, personalized service.
Our office is equipped with the most current technology, including soft tissue laser to reshape and recontour gums, diagnodent laserlight to detect tiny cavities and intra-oral cameras. We perform diagnostics with the aid of the myomonitor and the K-7 system. This helps us analyze the patient's facial symmetrics and aid in smile design.
